Hello, my name is Earline Crawford, and I am the honored wife of Lorenzo Crawford. I am the proud mother of three wonderful adult daughters, Antoinette, Adrianne, and Ashley Zybrena, and the proud grandmother of a dashing grandson, Kevin. I am in the golden years of my life, and God is still so faithful to me. He has taught me to, “live by believing and not by seeing.” In my walk with God, I have found that Joy and peace is in the praise, and the praise is what brings us into His Presence!
At Life Link Church, I am part of the Radiant Women’s Leadership Council, and I minister alongside my husband in marriage mentoring, serving communion, and altar prayer. As a Woman after God’s own Heart, my passion is to nourish and educate the total woman of God. We wear many hats while we work to keep the main thing the main thing.
In December 1998, I hosted my first Holiday Tea party in Stone Mountain, GA. I did not know that God would turn my tea party into such an awesome time of encouragement for the Spirit, soul and body of His Beloved Daughters. I named my tea service Her Royal MajesTEA, and I am affectionately known to many as “The Tea Lady.”
With Spirituali-tea time, I want to encourage you to know who you are and Whose you are. When you have daily Tea Time with The King, you will find your true identity in Him. The Word says you are “more than a conqueror.” Now a conqueror means we win, more than a conqueror means, we win continually! Worship God for Who He is as you reflect on His love and faithfulness to you.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” II Tim. 3:16. The process of living in the The Word shapes the character of the person.
Likewise teas come from the same bush, Camellia sinensis. The process of the leaves shapes the character of the tea.
In planning my tea parties, I pair the tea with the food that is being served. In this Spirituali-Tea time, I have chosen to pair the teas with scripture.
Tea is great for the body, and scripture is great for the spirit and soul!
Black Tea – promotes energy; it is full-bodied and strong with caffeine benefits to give you a boost.
Spiritual boost – “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength!” Phil. 4:13
Green Tea – along with its many benefits, it regulates glucose levels and protects against the formation of blood clots.
Spiritual well being – “Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.” III Jn 1:2
Oolong tea – a natural and gentle remedy for weight loss as it increases the metabolism of the body. It is also good for dental health, skin health, and disease prevention.
Spiritual remedy – “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].” Ps. 91:1
White Tea – good for the immune system, reduces high cholesterol, and lowers blood pressure.
Spiritual immunity – “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” Rom. 8:31
To keep cool during the summer Spirituali-Tea Time – Drink Iced Tea!
Fill your kettle with filtered water and bring to a boil.
Place teabags in a tempered pitcher.
Pour hot water to fill pitcher half full.
Brew tea double-strength to allow for ice cube dilution.
Add sweetener or fruit – strawberries, pineapple, mango, and berries – more antioxidants.
Whatever season of life that you are in, the key to keeping your joy
and your peace is to steep yourself in the Word daily!!!
